Whittier Wedding

This couple eloped in Alaska from North Dakota. They had never been to Alaska but it was one of their dream destinations- after the wedding they hopped on a cruise to check out our great state.

A Handcrafted Wedding

This wedding has a lot of DIY inspiration. The couple along with their family and friends put a hand touch to just about everything. The food was homemade. The center pieces were all different- and were made from various vases, jars and vintage books. They used doilies and handmade paper pinwheels on the tables as well. The flowers were put together by the bridal party including the bouquets- which can be a tough thing to do! The couple also made the invitations, programs, boutonnieres, and the cake topper.  If you have the time and help you could put a hand touch to your wedding as well. My recommendation is to practice ahead of time to make sure that you like what you create.

Rustic DIY Wedding

I saw this wedding on Style Me Pretty and thought I had to blog about it. It’s not often that you see a wedding with a color theme of orange. It fits perfectly with the rustic look and scenery of the location. This wedding was a DIY wedding all of the way. The bride bought the glassware from local thrift stores, she had her mother make the table runners, the groom made round cuts of wood for displaying things like the cake, wine corks were used to present place cards, and the flowers came in bulk from a wholesale goods store.
